Architects Declare began in the United Kingdom in May 2019 and has quickly gained traction on a global scale. According to the declaration, building and construction contribute nearly 40% of all energy-related carbon dioxide emissions. All signatories hope to raise client and supply chain awareness of the climate and biodiversity crises and the need for immediate action.
